We are pleased to advise updates to the delivery of a number of our programs including:
Ballistic Training Solutions is thrilled to be able to offer a range of new qualifications hot off the press from the recent industry updates and package re-development and approvals over the past 12 months.
The following new offerings are available in addition to their predecessor qualifications (where still current and in train out):

BALLISTIC TRAINING SOLUTIONS COVID-19 SERVICE DELIVERY & PERSONAL SAFETY GUIDELINES
Timely we provide an update on our safe operating standards and personal hygiene and safety requirements.
Please ensure that you are familiar with the following requirements and ensure these are implemented as part of your daily work practices.
As an essential service we must ensure that we have effective strategies in place to ensure safety for all persons. Per Australian Government guidelines the following is advised:

Everyone should stay home unless you are: shopping for essentials, receiving medical care, exercising or travelling to work or education)

People aged over 70, aged over 60 with pre-existing conditions, or Indigenous people aged over 50 should stay home wherever possible for their own protection
As per updated guidelines from Australian and Queensland Government
HEAD OFFICE OPERATION GUIDANCE
-
BTS Head office has moved to an appointment-based access only with no un-announced visitors via previous appointment and screening.
-
Do not attend work/training if you are unwell (Call your supervisor on the phone)
-
Hand Sanitiser is provided at entry and bathroom facilities
-
Hand wash facilities are available at all sink areas.
-
All activities are to be undertaken with minimum social distancing measures
-
Outside the office please ensure that you maintain social distancing requirements including no more than 2 people
GENERAL WORK PRACTICE GUIDANCE
-
Do not attend work/training if you are unwell (Call your supervisor on the phone)
-
Wash your hands with soap regularly throughout the day
-
Rub your hands with sanitiser regularly throughout the day
-
Avoid hand contact with your face as much as possible
-
Maintain a distance of at least 1.5m from others where possible per government social distancing guidelines
-
Consider opening windows and adjusting air conditioning for more fresh air
-
Sanitise your work area on a regular basis (before use, during use and at end of use) each day
-
Limit food handling and shared food in the workplace
TRAINING PROGRAM GUIDANCE
-

Utilize online-web conferencing where possible
-
Ensure hand sanitiser is available for all attendees
-
Ensure all attendees are encouraged to wash hands regularly
-
Ensure social distancing is maintained at 1.5m where possible (in the workplace)
-
Ensure that all indoor training activities maintain 4 square metres for each person in present (Workplace activities only)
-
Ensure that all attendees have their own resources and encouraged to not share with others
-
All surfaces, equipment is to be thoroughly cleaned prior to use, after each student use and post use with suitable antiseptic wipe.
TRAVEL GUIDANCE
-
Do not travel if you are unwell (Call your supervisor on the phone)
-
Restrict travel to essential work activities only (To and from work activities only where web conference is not practicable or available)
-
Maintain awareness of Social distancing when using transport
-
No more than 2 staff in a vehicle at any one time for approved work-related travel only
-
No students, family, visitors or clients are permitted to enter, travel or use BTS company vehicles
-
Utilise antiseptic wipes to clean surfaces including all contact areas inside the vehicle and external handles
-
Avoid direct contact with others prior during and post travel
FIELD & WORKPLACE TRAINING VENUE GUIDANCE
-
Do not attend work/training if you are unwell (Call your supervisor on the phone)

Where possible undertake training/observation activities in open areas with minimal persons essential to the task whilst ensuring social distancing guidelines. Ensure sensible workplace measures are employed to minimise contact and work with students individually not in groups.

Ensure prior contact with workplace/s is undertaken for planning of visit, those required and their personal safety (including checks on workplace suitability for meeting area, social distancing and sanitation requirements)
-
Conduct lessons outdoors where possible
-
Clean all equipment thoroughly prior during and after each use by everyone
-
Utilise personal hygiene practices and encourage others to do the same
-
Avoid direct contact in keeping with social distancing requirements and ensure that any indoor activities meet the minimum distance per person for the size of the space requirements.
